It is not comfortable being in your 30s. You are at a point in your life where you are not too young, but not too old either. Hence, some people in this age bracket start suffering from depression, especially if they still have not met their dreams and expectations in life.

It is also a point in your life where you start aging. Your skin no longer looks glowing as it used to. You may not have acne issues anymore, but your skin looks dry or oily all the time. You will soon be moving towards your 40s, so you need to be more careful in taking care of your skin, or else you will look a lot older than you should. Here are some tips to help you delay aging.

Wear sunscreen at all times

Some of us only think of wearing sunscreen when we are at the beach. The truth is that you need sunscreen as soon as you step out of your house. If you expose yourself to the sun, you will probably suffer from skin conditions. Sunburn is one of these problems, especially if you get more exposure than you should. The UV rays coming from the sun pose enormous risks. The same UV rays could also make you look old. They make your skin look dry, and wrinkles form quickly.

Avoid smoking

You enjoyed smoking when you were young, and now is the time to stop it. Your body starts to deteriorate when you hit this age. Therefore, you need to quit smoking to help your body recover. Smoking does not just worsen problems with your internal organs, but it also makes you look old. Smoking destroys the collagen in your body. Collagen makes you look young, so you don’t want it ruined.

Stay hydrated

Given how busy you are with work and family, it might be easy for you to forget to stay hydrated. You need to drink plenty of water especially if you are doing outdoor and strenuous activities. Drinking water does not just keep your organs revitalized; it also makes your skin look soft and glowing. Avoid coffee and soda since they don’t do anything to keep your skin from getting oily and dry.

Get enough sleep

Yes, you are too busy with a lot of things going on with your life but try your best to get enough sleep. When you sleep at night, your skin gets enough time to do self-repair. Hence, if you sleep for only a few hours, the skin cells don’t get the chance to regrow. You will end up with sagging skin and eye bags the moment you wake up. Your wrinkles also start getting worse.

Use the right skin care products

You need to be extra careful with the skin care products you use. Stick with quality anti aging skin care. Find options that people trust and are suitable for your skin. People have different skin types, so you need to know first what works best for you.

With these tips for looking young and healthy, you can say that age is just a number.
