Newman’s Own for the Holidays
I was not compensated for this post. However, I did receive a product from the company below and the opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC guidelines.
Tasty Goodies from Newman’s Own
For more years than I can remember, Newman’s Own Raspberry & Walnut Vinaigrette has been my absolute favorite salad dressing. I started buying it when it was one of the few products they had on the market.
Now the range of Newman’s Own products is vast. Great foods from snacks to sauces, and even pet food…and every cent of the profits from sales goes to charity. You can’t get much better than that!
I received a fantastic box of goodies from Newman’s Own, to try out for the holidays.
I knew that they were offering a lot more products, but WOW I had no idea just how many.
I received an assortment from the following:
- Cookies
- Pretzels
- Popcorn
- Candy and Mints
- Chocolate
- Dried Cranberries
And I can tell you. I had no trouble getting my family to give them all a try!
About Newman’s Own
In 1982, Newman’s Own was founded by Paul Newman based on two key principles: that “quality should always trump profits” and that “if we make any money, we’ll give it all to charity.”
Paul Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation have given over $450 million to thousands of charities. How to account for this massive success? We haven’t the slightest idea but one thing we do know is we’re not stopping.
Today, Newman’s Own produces over 200 individual products across 20 categories. Always great tasting, always top quality, just the way our founder, Paul Newman, insisted. We’ll always follow his vision for putting quality first.
I don’t even know where to begin. I guess that I’ll tell you about my tip top favorites. First, I’m a fig bar girl, so I claimed ALL of the Fig Newmans Fig and Stawberry Filled Cookies. Oh my word. These are the BEST. And I’ll give you a tip…freeze them. YUM
Next up…chocolate! My husband was quite happy with the Organic Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, but me….Ooooooooh, the Organic Super Dark Raspberry Cups are to die for. I was almost expecting the raspberry filling to be overly sweet compared to the dark chocolate, but on no no no. They did them just right. Tart raspberry filling surrounded by creamy dark chocolate made for the perfect treat. Of course our resident munchkin thought that the Sour Licorice Twists were the best of the lot. She happily ate them with squinted eyes. What is it with kids loving sour candy? To go along with my favorite salad dressing, the dried cranberries are the perfect pairing in a salad. To make a complete super fast meal, just add some toasted nuts and sliced rotisserie chicken.
This holiday season, think Newman’s Own not just cooking, but for treats as well. Popcorn for those special holiday movie nights. Cookies to go with hot cocoa after a night out caroling. For the adults, a cup of coffee or tea…or maybe something a wee bit stronger. Newman’s Own…give yourself and those you love, a gift of flavor!
