Phi Phi Islands
The Phi Phi islands are perhaps the most popular and acclaimed of the islands near Phuket. The little area houses six islands, all of which are surrounded by beautiful emerald waters. Regardless of what your taste for adventure and tourism is, these islands will undoubtedly pique your fancy. The largest of these islands is Koh Phi Phi Don, and it’s the only one with inhabitants. It features three areas on its own – a village between Dalum and Tonsai, the tropical, beach-like Laem Thong, and the southern coast, which provides accommodation choices for tourists.
The Coral Island
Coral Island is a rather small island. Located off the southeastern coast of Phuket, the island is just about 15 minutes from the mainland by speedboat. Coral Island features two beaches, which are named Banana and Long. Both of these beaches face the north, and they provide premium diving and snorkeling scenery. Similan Islands

Racha Islands
Called “Raya” by some, the Racha Islands consists of two lovely island spots toward the southern side of Phuket. The islands, known as Racha Noi and Racha Yai, have gained popularity for being awesome sites for snorkeling and diving, as well as the fish-filled waters that surround them. Of course, you can count on lovely scenery going around as well. Currently, Racha Yai is the only island that provides accommodation options. Still, both locations are premium spots for sure.
Khai Islands
The Khai Islands (Koh Khai Nai and Koh Khai Nok) are two quaint islets that are located close to Phuket. Koh Khai Nok is the larger of the two, and it’s usually busy in the high season. Both Khai Islands are uninhabited, but you can visit them to get all you need for a lovely day at the beach – bars, restaurants, umbrellas, sun lounges, and much more. Koh Khai Nok also provides a plethora of fish that roam around the shore, thus providing a lovely aesthetic and feeling of swimming in an aquarium.
