There are so many fantastic different kinds of woods to choose from and so many different colors, that you’re going to be spoiled for choice, and you might even get a little confused. However, don’t worry, this article will help to explain to you about the different colors and finishes there are available out there. Let’s discuss some of the wood colors that are available to you and which one is best for each room.

  • White or grey wooden floors – These are a fantastic choice for rooms, that you can get from your local woodcut wooden flooring specialists, and it is great for rooms that are not terribly busy, and people don’t go in there that often. Such places would be like a study, or a lounge which might receive the occasional visitor once in a while. The light color of this particular wood allows the room to appear bigger than it actually is, and it makes the room a lot brighter as well. Depending on how you look at it, you may see it as a positive or a negative, but on the lighter colored floor, you can notice dust and dirt more easily to clean it, which may help alleviate any allergies that you have.

  • Warm wood floors – These light brown, honey colored woods are great in rooms such as the living room because the colors are so welcoming and warm. They are the opposite of the lighter floors that are mentioned above, and so can hide the dirt more easily, and this is perfect for people who don’t want to have to clean the floor every day. In a room with this floor covering, you will feel much more relaxed and at ease with the world.

  • Dark wood floors – Dark wood floors can provide that old rustic look that is perfect for rooms that get a lot of foot traffic. Indentations and scratches created by shoes and other footwear are not as noticeable and so this kind of floor is perfect for business premises, or rooms in the house where a family congregates on a regular basis.

These are only a few of the many colors available, so you need to take your time and find the wood finish that is right for you and they might be available at G&B Quality Cedar Products. Obviously, it will need to match the décor in the room itself, but the wonderful thing about wooden floors, is that they pretty much go with anything.
