Entertaining with the Perfect Cocktails

If you are going to be buying crushed or cubed ice you need to make sure that you work out how many people are coming so that you can make sure that you order enough ice to make plenty of chilled cocktails. Remember, you will be using the ice both to make cocktails in the shaker and to put into the cocktail glass in cube form. Factor in around 3-4 cubes per cocktail plus the crushed ice you need to create your chilled cocktail. You may find that a manual ice crusher is the perfect accessory when having a cocktail party or you may be able to use your blender if it is able to handle ice cubes and crushed ice without clogging or breaking.
Of course, it is important to remember that not everyone will want cold drinks or ones that are very high in alcohol content. There are alternative that you can consider such as Irish coffee, which is warming, delicious, and very popular. This is also a perfect choice if you are hosting a get together or event outside in the fall or winter, as it will help to warm your guests up and provide them with a sumptuous drink to enjoy.
It is always a good idea to be prepared when it comes to your cocktails and beverages. Make a list of the ones that you want to make for the event and check out some recipes. Also, make sure that you have all of the ingredients you need to create your chosen cocktails.
