Win An Aluratek Digital 8” Photo Frame & Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Camera + Instax Mini Film

There is just something special about photographs. We take so many pictures with our phones these days, but some of our favorite family memories deserve more than sitting inside a camera roll where we may forget about them.

That is what made the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame and Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 such a fun combination when we originally featured them here on Night Helper. One gave families a way to continuously display their digital memories, while the other brought back the excitement of watching an actual photograph develop right in front of you.

Displaying Family Memories With Aluratek

Digital photo frames have always been one of those products that can fit naturally into almost any home. Instead of choosing one photograph for a traditional frame, you can enjoy a collection of memories throughout the day.

That can mean pictures of the kids and grandkids in the living room, vacation memories in the family room, wedding photographs, birthdays, graduations or even a rotating collection of family photos sitting on your desk.

Aluratek is still making digital photo frames today, and it is nice to see how the category has continued to grow over the years.

The company’s current 8 inch Digital Photo Frame with 4GB of built in memory keeps the basic idea simple. It features an 8 inch 800 x 600 LCD display and supports photos, videos and music. Families can use the built in memory or add their own compatible SD card or USB flash drive to access their memories.

It can also run photo slideshows with background music, and the frame includes built in speakers, a clock, calendar and automatic on and off timer. A remote control is included for navigating the frame from across the room.

Remember the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9?

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 was another fun way to capture memories, especially when you wanted something you could actually hold in your hand.

There was always something exciting about taking an instant picture and waiting for the image to appear. Kids loved it, adults loved it and it made parties, family gatherings, vacations and celebrations a little more fun.

Instead of taking dozens of pictures and forgetting about them on a phone, an instant camera gave you a photograph that could go straight into a scrapbook, onto the refrigerator, inside a card or home with a family member.

Two Different Ways To Keep Those Special Moments

Looking back, I still like the idea behind pairing these two products together.

The digital frame was perfect for enjoying a large collection of family photographs over and over again, while the Instax camera gave families a physical picture right in the moment.

Technology has changed quite a bit since we originally shared these products, but our reason for taking pictures really has not changed. We still want to capture the people, celebrations and everyday moments that matter to us.

Aluratek Digital Frames Today

Aluratek continues to offer digital photo frames in several sizes and styles, including traditional digital frames, motion sensor models and WiFi touchscreen frames.

Some of today’s models make sharing family photographs even easier, especially for families who live far apart. It is a product category that still makes a lot of sense for grandparents, parents and anyone who enjoys seeing their favorite photographs without having to pull out a phone.
