Vacation Ideas for Your Next Guys Trip

Girls aren’t the only ones who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life every once in a while. Sometimes guys need to get out and get away with their guy friends too! A guys trip is a great way to get away, relax, and unwind. Below are five destination ideas you should consider when you start planning your next getaway.

Vail, Colorado

Vacations do not have to be limited to warm weather. If you like the idea of spending your day out in the snow and you nights drinking beer by the fire, Vail is a place you should consider. Spend a week at a resort, where you can take your pick of snowboarding or skiing, and if you get bored out on the slopes you can also try to tackle ice skating.

Barbados

The Caribbean isn’t only for pirates. Barbados is the perfect place to go if you want to soak up some sun and sand. You can take a tram tour of Harrison’s Cave or a glass bottom boat trip. There is also a chocolate factory you can tour if you want to spend some time inside in the air conditioning.

If you want to get outside and get up close and personal with nature, then scuba diving is what you want to do. Check out the reefs such Bell Buoy and Shark Bank, and there are also several ship wreck sites that you can explore. Just make sure to pick a trip that fits your ability level and bring the gear you need. You can find more details here.

A Utah Wilderness Survival Trip

Want to tell your grandchildren about that one time when you survived alone in the wilderness, and actually be telling the truth? Go on a guy’s trip with the Boulder Outdoor Survival School.

At the school you go through an intensive course where they teach you everything from the correct way to start a fire, to how to identify which plants are edible and which are not. After you go through the training you are taken out in the wilderness with a guide, and at the end of the trip you go on a solo expedition as well.

Las Vegas, Nevada

What happens in Vegas, stays there. That’s what they say at least. Things are definitely more likely to stay there when you go with a group of guys you trust. You don’t have to limit yourself to just casinos either.

You can take in a show with one of Vegas’ resident artists or take a drive through the Valley of Fire. You can also take a gondola ride at the Venetian, go to one of National Parks close to the city, or just take a stroll down the strip to view all the city has to offer. Vegas doesn’t have to be all flashing lights and late nights either. It’s a great jump-off for several day trips in the area like the grand canyon and antelope canyon tours when you need a day in nature to recover.

Mexico

Mexico is a great option if you are looking for something all-inclusive. Many trips to Mexico, especially in high tourist areas, include everything from your hotel to your meals, and even the activities you enjoy while on your trip. If you’re going to Mexico City, you can take a helicopter tour Mexico City style and enjoy some amazing views. If visiting Cancun or Cozumel in Quintana Roo, remember to pay your Visitax before you leave.

A popular way to spend your time is to try your hand at scuba diving in the clear waters of the Caribbean. You can get details on Scubalist.pro. If being in the water is not what your dreaming of you can also find out how tequila is made, go deep sea fishing, or see some ancient ruins.

Paddle on The Grand Canyon

What better way to get immersed with nature and spend some time with the guys than to paddle down 300 miles of the Colorado River on the Grand Canyon. The trip lasts 13-18 days and cost less than 5k. You will spend your time soaking in the history and scenic view of the canyon while the raft soars you over the rapids.
