Snoring occurs when a person can’t pass air freely through your nose and throat while sleeping, this makes the surrounding nasal tissues to vibrate and produce the snoring sound that we have all heard at some point in life. Let’s face it, for a person who snore it can be quite embarrassing when they sleep and snore in public and it can even damage your self-esteem; and Snoring in itself can pose a health risk, the snorer is at risk of developing sleep apnea. As it stands there are a wide variety of products present in the market that seek to curb the snoring menace. Some are more effective than others and therefore you may want to choose the right product or solution to take care of the problem for you, your partner or even a loved one.

1. Chinstrap jaw supporter

The chin strap jaw supporter is a non invasive anti snoring device made from a very comfortable high quality material that is breathable. The device is easy to maintain since it is machine washable and best of all it is portable meaning that if you want to go on a trip and you know that you may fall asleep along the way, you can whip it out and strap it on without any worry. The supporter when put on by a snoring person helps stop the snoring by holding the jaw firmly in place in a forward position, this keeps the airways open therefore no more snoring while you are sleep. However if you are experiencing nasal blockage or allergies it’s advisable to consult your doctor first.

2. The snore pillow

This device is pretty much like your average pillow, with a slight difference, the pillow has a couture or a depression in the middle, the use of the depression is to support the neck and keep the airways open while you are asleep and putting an end to your snoring problem. The pillows come in various sizes to suit your sleeping position better. Some of the snore pillows out here are agronomical in that they even provide an added benefit for your spine as you slumber leaving you in even a better sleeping position that ever before. I’d recommend it for all the snorers out there. The only downside is that it doesn’t demonstrate the same portability as the chin strap jaw supporter.

3. Tongue stabilizing device

This is viewed as the best oral device to stop snoring though it requires you to get used to it first. The device must be rinsed in hot water first before its applied, doing this makes the plastic flexible therefore easily attachable. Such devices require regular cleaning to support its hygienic purpose. For more information on mouth related devices you can visit https://www.zeesnoring.com/anti-snoring-devices/. Our aim, in writing this article, was to help you get value for your money when you sort to purchase any of the anti snoring devices for your use. Always remember snoring is caused by various factors and for the more technical devices visit a doctor or a dentist so as to obtain the best fitting and for you to receive the proper recommendation for your snoring problem.

  • These are great things for combating snoring. Maybe if people will use these, they and their sleep partner (if applicable) can get some sleep.

  • My husband use to work with setting up people with the sleep apnea machines, but that was a little more than just a snoring issue. I’m glad there are so many ways to help stop snoring. I’m sure it not only gives the snorer more rest, but also those around him / her!
