Recently, I’ve been searching for a freezer, and I believe I’ve just discovered the one that meets all of my requirements. My husband and I felt we needed to invest in stocking up on meats since the winter months are approaching and, to be honest, the way the rise in inflation is affecting us all, everyone may want to do the same thing!

The great thing about this freezer is it allows you to easily control the temperature for your food, it’s quiet and has removable baskets for easy organization.

As with all Newair products the set-up was a breeze with clear instructions. We decided to place our freeze within the basement instead of our garage. On the top front (outside) of the freezer is the temperature display and control. With a range of 50° F for cellaring all the way down to -14.8° F for a deep freeze, you can choose the optimal temperature for frozen meats, veggies, prepared foods and more.

There is an LED light inside the NewAir 6.7 cu. ft. Compact Chest Freezer, which is another fantastic feature. Nothing compares to opening your freezer and not being able to see what you are looking for. Whether it’s day or night, the LED Light will give you the illumination you require so you can easily access your food.

A wire basket to keep things tidy and a stopper hinge keeps the lid open at various angles on the top-open door. Now the inside is very spacious as I mention and deep if you ask me! The lining of this freezer looks somewhat like aluminum foil, which is different from a couple of chest freezers I had in the past.

One thing I would add is that you should clean the interior before stockpiling your freezer foods. The Fast Freeze Mode is another fantastic feature that I appreciate! You can shorten the time it takes to get your food to a temperature that is safe for storage by using the Fast Freeze Mode. Fast Freeze Mode uses extra-cold air to quickly flash-freeze meals that are at room temperature while preventing freezer burn and big ice crystals. You even have a self-diagnostic system to alert you if there become any issues with your NewAir 6.7 cu. ft. Compact Chest Freezer(Model: NFT070MB00).

Additionally, there is a Door Alarm for “Additional Protection”. You might be wondering how this Door Alarm helps or protects. Having lost a freezer full of food, you are well aware of how costly and upsetting it can be. Due to a lack of refrigerator space, I required a new freezer, and this was everything I needed and more! It is really roomy and enhances the appearance of our basement with its elegant black style!
