The fast, linear motor operates at 13,000 CPM to cut through the thickest beards. I asked my husband to test the Panasonic Arc3 for me and provide me with his opinion! After he was done he mentioned to me how quiet the razor was and how he received such a close smooth cut from the blades. He also stated he was actually impressed by the fast vibration of the blades and clean cut. He said the shaver itself was very light weight and handled very well in his hand because of the unique design.
