Dona Bela Shreds , Shreds turned into neckwear!

Yes, that’s right, my title is just what I said! Dona Bela Shreds, Shreds turned into neckwear!

When I first heard about this company I too was like, what do I do with the Dona Bela Shreds. Once I had a chance to view their website I realized what the concept was behind their brand and product and found it to be very interesting.

You see, Dona Bela Shreds is a fashion accessory line that upcycles textile remnants & designs them into unique, one-of-a-kind creations. All Shred neckwear designs and color combinations reflect current fashion trends and are designed in line with seasonal color palettes.

How you decide to wear their shreds is all up to you and the design. That’s because each shred length is either short or long, has a thickness or thin strand, and again are made up of many colors and designs.

Some might like to wrap them around their neck, wrist, or you may also be able to style them within your hair if you have that creative instinct! The scarves are made in Iowa with the material that is left on the cutting room floor at nearby clothing companies.

One unique thing I found about Dona Bela Shreds is they offer their regular shreds, game-day shreds, and bands for use around your head.  The game-day shredlite you see below represents my daughters College team colors so I’m sure she would love to be able to sport this one on game-day!

I’m sure Dona Bela Shreds has something for everyone! Especially since it’s back to school time, these shreds would make great gifts to share with the kids and their friends! These colorful upcycled scarves from Dona Bela Shreds were created by Allison Davidson Motoyama.
