Attending Your First Rave

Now that you’re looking to attend your first rave, it’s time to get ready for it. If you’re wondering what you should be doing to prep for it, you’ve come to the right place. After reading this article you’ll be RaveReady. There are a couple of things that you should be keeping in mind when choosing the right clothing. The truth is, there are no principles you must stick to, it’s a really ‘anything goes’ kind of mentality.

  1. Be Yourself

First things first, you want to be yourself. Don’t be the shy version of yourself, be exactly who you are. Think about what you would want to wear if you weren’t worried about being judged by others. Anyone is going to accept you no matter what you are wearing. There is no judgment at these events which is the draw of them for many.

  1. Weather

The only thing that you should allow to impact your decision on what to wear would be the weather or where the rave is taking place. After all, if the rave is going to be at a warehouse, it’s likely going to get relatively hot inside. Whereas, if the rave is scheduled outdoors and at night, it’s likely to be very cold and you should dress accordingly. Think about where the rave is being held and what kind of conditions you’ll be going out in. If you are dressing properly for the weather, you’ll remain as comfortable as possible throughout the entire thing. The weather isn’t going to adjust the temperature or conditions because a rave is scheduled. You have to be on top of things when getting dressed to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible during the rave.

Rave Outfits for Girls

While some girls might prefer to wear Kikwears or a t-shirt, some will prefer a tutu with LED lighting, you can choose from many different light up necklaces to add to the outfit or even a bikini top. It doesn’t matter what you are wearing, just that you are comfortable wearing it. This is partially what makes attending raves so much fun. You’ll be able to check out some of the unique outfits and costumes the girls are wearing and it can even offer you some inspiration when getting dressed for your next one. If you happen to be nervous going into your first rave, you could always try to tone it down and even attend in your normal street attire. You could always wear something that you would normally wear while going out shopping along with comfortable shoes. Keep in mind, you’re going to be rave dancing throughout the night. Meaning, do not wear heels.

Rave Outfits For Guys

The truth is, guys have it very easy when it comes to getting dressed for any event. After all, you can always throw on a t-shirt and jeans and no one is going to bat an eye. However, a lot of guys go all out for their raves. You might find them pulling out phat pants, a shirt with LED lights, or custom-made outfits. I would recommend going for UFO pants because they can be extremely lightweight, comfortable, and easy to dance in. However, as with girls, you must wear comfortable shoes. After all, you’re going to be on your feet and dancing throughout the night.

Overall, getting ready for your first rave doesn’t have to be stressful. Try to choose clothing that you feel comfortable in and that you are going to want to dance in. No one is going to judge you. Therefore, you can be as creative and flashy as your heart desires. Just go out and have some fun!
