Take this Quick & Free Online Hearing Test! @MiracleEar, #HearABetterDay, #ad

As we become older so do our bodies! Believe it or not, your body changes daily and the older we become many things change, especially our bones, eyesight, main senses and of course our hearing.  Lately I’ve noticed my sister speaking a little louder than normal, I thought for a minute it was all due to her dealing with her sinus issues. But as her cold started to go away, I still noticed her speaking in a rather large tone then how she normally speaks.

When I confronted her about it, she mentioned she’s been having issues with her right ear for some time now and just never said a word to anyone about it. Now keep in mind also that she is a little up in age, but hearing loss can occur in any stage of your life and at any age.

I know it’s been frustrating for her just by the look in her eyes when she speaks about it but now is the time for her to  step up and take a hearing test to determine the status of her hearing impairment if any!

So when I was told that I would be partnering with Miracle-Ear , I was beyond excited to support my sister with taking a hearing loss test. I knew she would be a little afraid to do it on her own, so I suggested we both do it. This way, whatever our results show we can do  what is needed to improve our hearing together. Trust me when I say, hearing loss not only impacts the person who is experiencing it, it also impacts the love ones around them too!  I  have to confess I haven’t had a hearing test since I was a child, so I’m excited to see my results too from the Miracle-Ear Free Online Test.

To get started is very simple, just visit the Miracle-Ear website so you can start the free hearing test/exam right now.

Now when you take the test you’ll enter into a few different situations where it may be a little noisy or just plain old loud.

As you move forward the test will ask you questions after every scene, all you have to do is select your answer. It’s just that simple and easy to do!

hearingtest3

Once you have completed the Miracle-Ear hearing loss test, you will see your results at the end. Well, here are my results and to be honest, I actually thought I was hard of hearing but I guess not.

hearingtestresults

I scored a 10 out of 10 which was very shocking because I sometimes find myself speaking in a higher tone than normal but now I guess I just talk loud ha…lol!

Well, if you have a loved one that you are concerned about their hearing, take a moment and share this free hearing test/exam so they to can see if they need to take the next step to improve their hearing.

I’m even thinking about doing the test on my kids. Now all you have to do is call to schedule your Free Miracle-Ear Hearing Test or you can find the nearest hearing aid center location nearest you here to take the next step to a #HearABetterDay!

I took the test for my husband and it resulted a 5.3 out of 10 in the score. I keep telling him I seriously feel he might benefit from a hearing aid. As we get older we deny things for fear we look older, but now a days the ear product is so small that can be worn without that concern. I will tell him about these test results. Thank you

What a neat idea. Hearing aids are so much smaller and better than years ago.

This is very interesting. I remember in grade school they used to test our hearing every year. Its not something that is very common in adulthood.

I should really take this test since I have a constant tone that seems mostly in my left ear and most of the time have a hard time understanding what people are saying unless I am concentrating on them.

I’m only showing the very first signs of hearing loss, in line with my age, but it was still shocking to learn.
Great advice to keep in mind; take care of our ears now. 🙂

When my Dad was in his fifties he finally gave in to my mom and went to the doctor about hearing loss. The doc looked in his ear and said he needed his ear cleaned out. It was just full of wax! After getting that ear flushed out his hearing was within normal range!

I’ve noticed my Mom speaking louder than usual. I think it might be because she has an oxygen machine going all the time & that forces you to turn up the TV or radio to hear them, plus it makes it harder to hear others voices. Still, I wish she would have her hearing checked.

I had hearing damage as a child and my hearing was tested and the results were 60% in one ear and 40% in the other,I wasn’t supposed to listen to loud music but as it turns out I loved loud rock and heavy metal and now my hearing is probably worse so it’s good to know there is a test I can take at home.
