If your like me I’m sure you to do a lot of searching before buying any product. I like to make sure every product I buy meets my needs not only with the results they provide but the needs of making my daily life easier.
When I was given the opportunity to give the new Shark Rocket Ultralight Upright vacuum a try I was excited. First let me just say this Shark Rocket was so easy to assemble, it was a one, two click setup and everything I needed was inside he box.
Included:
- Shark® Rocket™ Ultralight Vacuum
- Dusting Brush
- 12″ Crevice Tool
- Wide Upholstery Tool
- Wall Mount
- 32′ Cord & Shark Accessory bag
Once I completed the assembling the Shark was ready to go.
Within minutes I was sliding throughout the den vacuuming with ease. Oh the swivel pivot from the Shark Rocket makes vacuuming so much better for me. It is stated that the Shark Rocket will never lose suction and its true! This is a very powerful lightweight vacuum that you can maneuver in any area of your home, under the bed, couch, chairs and tables with ease.
The extended 32″length cord is great, I was able to do the whole den and start halfway in the bedroom that’s a lot of cord. I was at awe as to all the dust and hair that was suctioned up. I use my other vacuum daily since we have a cat and lots of traffic from the kids and hubby I just knew my carpet was clean….well I guess not!
The Shark Rocket really does provide your carpet a deep clean plus it was very delicate on my rug compared to many high price vacuums. The Shark Rocket packs a cleaning punch in every room with its lightweight features. The Shark Rocket helps to remove pet hair, cleans upholstery, stairs and even curtains with its long attachments. Since I am not that tall I find the long extended attachment and the handheld vac to be a plus. I tried it out and wow once again the Shark impressed me with its fast action cleaning power on my curtain and blinds.
The Shark Rocket is great for carpet, hardwood and linoleum floors, stairs and tile. The Ergonomic handle was very comfortable to grip and the smaller dust cup was so much easier to dump than some of those large vacuums. I like how when your finished with the handheld vac you can attach it to the bottom to help keep storage space to a limit….that’s pretty cool!
The motorized brushroll spreads evenly throughout the carpet as it collects particles and you must rinse the filter every month in order to get the full power of suction . Overall I say the Shark Rocket is one of the best lightweight vacuums I’ve come across that I really like. Just because most vacuums are bigger doesn’t mean there better. Again the Shark Rocket packs a cleaning punch that will make your home clean as a whistle plus the attractive design is unique and very stylish.

Wow, I desperately need a new vacuum, mine has had it. I have been looking at purchasing a Shark, and thanks to your review I think I have all the answers I need.
I’ve been curious as to how the Shark works…I keep seeing the commercials, and I wonder if it can be as good as it seems!
I was wondering how well they really worked…you see them in the commercials, but i hadn’t heard anyones true experience. thanks for sharing yours!
This looks COOL! It seems so much easier than hauling out the clunky old vacuum for a quick cleanup!
This looks like an awesome sweeper. Heard good things about Shark. I like how light weight it is and how you can use it to clean up high. Thanks for the review, I am in need of a new sweeper so I will keep this in mind
