Motorola Talkabout 2-Way Radio MT350R review. #great for Camping, Working, Hiking etc.

 I will say this is by far one of the best units we have seen and used in a while. I have owned many Walkie Talkie radios by various companies but this one with the range and clarity has really peaked my interest in investing in a few more sets.  The Motorola Talkabout MT350R 2-Way Radio was very easy to operate and great for keeping you and your family connected while outdoors and can withstand  any weather element, plus they fit well within your hand.

We do a lot of traveling during the summer, camping, amusement parks, hiking, to beach and other travels. The best part of enjoying the summer this year will be using these walkabout 2-way radios to keep up with the kids, they will surely give us parents a piece of mind knowing that our children can be heard throughout the park or beach  and still able to check in with us. With the impressive range they offer which is 35 miles, I find that to be a great range with good reception as long as there is no obstacle to interfere.

  We had a chance to test this pair out last weekend, a few of us went to check on our cabin up north. We always have a convoy when traveling anywhere since we have such a large family so we knew this would be the ideal time to try them out. We were in the lead with our Motorola Talkabout 2-Way Radio and the last car had the other talkabout radio. Throughout the whole time we had good  reception even though we were traveling in between trees it didn’t matter we heard everything clear. Keep in mind that the last vehicle was some distance away from us. We made sure of that so not only did the radio’s provide crystal clear reception it was by far within a nice distance apart from our car.

Even when we arrived up north around all those trees the coverage was still clear and reliable. A few things I found impressive about the Motorola Talkabout MT350R 2-way radio is it has a built -in LED flashlight and a special emergency Alert mode that will send an alert tone to any of your group members who are with you and will stay in that mode for 8 seconds, this way you can call for help. Another great feature I like is it can be tuned into NOAA radio broadcast to keep you aware of any changes in the weather.

These Talkabout radios are not complicated at all, actually even the kids can utilize them with ease. Buttons are simple and all features will be a great benefit to its user upon use. The volume is very good and clear  plus you can place them in your pocket or purse or jacket for they do not take up much room and I can’t wait for the summer to come so we can use them even more. Great gifts for dad this Father’s day or a good gift to invest in for your family fun outings!
