Its Vacation time, do you have a Vacation Account?

Woohoo, my family and I are so excited. It’s Vacation time for us and within the next month or so we will be hitting the road, we love this time of year. We all meet at my home so we can decided on a destination that not only would be fun but adventurous too. Even though we will be traveling a few other places before our main trip this summer. I still have to make sure everything is in order so what better way to do that then to sit down and make a list of everything. My husband and I started planing our trips way before the kids got out for the summer and most of all we start a basic bank account just for traveling expenses last year.

It makes things so much easier financial wise when you have your travel funds prepared before hand. This way I can plan everything in advance as to what we need or how our travel plans will run. We all know everything from lodging, meals, gas, hotel and other travel expense is not cheap no matter how in advance you plan plus there is always a chance that something could go wrong. So not only do we need to be well organized, I like to take many things into factor. Like where we’re headed, the temperature …can’t stand to much heat, if its kid friendly, safe , able scheduling tours and most of all will it be fun.

Plus I have to make sure everyone from the kids on up have the right attire for the vacation. I’m sure we still will be spending more money on so many things even on more clothing, kids always seems to find that special shirt or hat they must have. We also need to make sure we can switch bank accounts easliy , you never know what may happen during traveling so making sure I can access more funds if needed is a must.

Our big trip will be going to Disney, the kids are not aware of it just yet my husband and I are keeping that a secret. I do know once we inform them I will hear screams so loud that they may burst my windows…lol. This is a trip we have been saving for for such a long time and taking a portion of our checks and applying it into our vacation account has really made a difference.
