I always joke that I must have one of the darkest bedrooms in the house. Unlike many rooms, mine doesn’t have an overhead ceiling light, so I rely on a bedside lamp. I placed one in my bedroom and another just outside the bathroom. Within the very first night I noticed a huge difference. Instead of searching for a light switch or walking through complete darkness, the light automatically turned on as I approached and shut off when it was no longer needed.
The motion activation worked exactly as advertised, making late night trips much safer and much more comfortable.

After years of stubbing my toes in the middle of the night, I can honestly say these little lights made a noticeable difference in our home. Sometimes it’s the simplest upgrades that make everyday life a little easier.
I always leave a night light on when my grandkids stay overnight. So I am definitely in need of one. I hate the dark anyway. When I go to bed I always use a flashlight when I walk around to check the doors, gas knobs and computers (to make sure they’re shut down.

For the most part, I can walk around my house without lights on. The only thing that gets me sometimes is the dog and cat toys that they leave around the house. So, these would be perfect for my hallway – it’d light my kitchen and dining room up enough to be able to walk through it.

I can think of several areas where this would be handy to have in my home.
Great idea! We often get up in the night – or even in the morning it’s still dark – and walking around can be awful! You carefully shuffle along and hope the dog’s toys aren’t out. This could really help.
This is fabulous. A great solution to late night stubbed toes and biting my lip to keep from waking anyone up.
