When choosing the right Caregiver it is crucial that everyone be involved. Its a conversation that everyone who lives in the home should have this way everyone will be on the same page as to understanding and choosing the right service or individual for care.
As my parents became older we all had to make a decision as to finding the proper service to assist them when we all had to work. We sat down and spoke with their doctors first, next we sought out to find a good caseworker and last by me and sisters being Nurses, we did our own assessment as to what our parents would need.
After all we wanted nothing but the best for our parents for as long as they were alive, they gave us the best of everything before their health began to deteriorate .
We finally found a good service that provided us with a wonderful caregiver who was able to meet all of our parents needs, but we wanted to stress to her that when dealing with individuals with multiply health issues it can sometimes burnout a caregiver.
