I know you’re asking what in the world is a Cloudbook? Well, a Cloudbook is Acer’s way of creating an inexpensive everyday computer that runs Windows 10 instead of Chrome OS. Basically it’s a new age netbook that is designed to help you get into the cloud much faster!
The 14-inch Acer Aspire One Cloudbook starts at just $199 plus it is equipped with an Intel Celeron CPU, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a free 1TB of cloud storage on OneDrive for a year. Now listen, before you get started with the Cloudbook please know that when starting the Cloudbook for the first time, the system will automatically connect to the Internet and search for any required Windows 10 updates. That’s pretty impressive to me! I say that because a few computers I’ve had before have always had me manually update Windows instead of automatically doing it on its own.
I feel the HD widescreen LED-backlit displays a great visual effect and of course the size of 14inches is truly big enough to see as you are browsing or playing games. The soft tone gray color nondescript plastic is not bad either, inside you’ll see this Cloudbook has a simple matt-black finish. It really is an ideal, reliable computer for the whole family and the textured of the keyboard feels relatively sturdy and simple to use.
No need to worry about syncing up to other devices because this Acer Cloudbook will sync with any Bluetooth 4.0 device with ease plus all your updates and backups will be taken care atomically as well.
Let’s say getting connected to web will be a breeze, I noticed this myself as to how fast I was connect. All this is due to the Cloudbook using the 802.11ac wireless technology which provides up to three times faster speeds than traditional wireless technology…..Zoom, Zoom your connected and browsing before you know it!!
T he Cloudbook’s has a standard 1.57mm of key travel and 60-gram actuation weight. I was able to breeze through with my typing in comfort and the keys responded very well during my task.
Lastly you also have a 1 yr subscription to Office 365 Personal plus the latest full version of Office application for Word, Excel, Power-point and more!
Personally in my opinion I think the Acer Cloudbook is a great productive computer that will meet your needs. It has the power to handle your computer task with ease, powers up very fast, great size HD screen, enough memory for sharing, and a dual -core 160 GHz and much more.
The whole family can enjoy this computer, playing games and browsing will be a breeze. For the price of $199 I’ll say “Two Thumbs Up” no doubt.

I must say i don’t know any thing about computers. My hubby does the installation. I simply enter contests so when there’s an issue, I ask him to provide for it.
I really like the slim look of this computer. I also like you can sync it through Bluetooth.
The computer looks great and the picture looks really nice.

I Like that the Acer Cloudbook is light weight making it easier to maneuver around with it . I definitely like the price! Seems like a lot of Computer for the Price. This computer sounds like one I would love. I like the size for one and that connecting to the internet is fast. Mine takes forever to browse around. Also I love the cloud features to add more room on the computer.

This cloudbook (and chromebooks in general) do fit the bill with being quick to connect and browse online. They hit the nail on the head when it comes to speed for sure.

honestly right now i’m totally loving the PRICE! who wouldn’t. very inexpensive 🙂 which is happy! lol. i play games like world of warcraft lol so if it can’t hold that then next LOL.
I love the fact that it connects automatically (syncs) to everything. That is a must with me, since I am not very tech savy. Lol. I also love the fact that it automatically searches for the updates to windows. I also love that it has a 14 inch display. You did a great job giving me the information that gives this computer an At in my book and something the entire family can enjoy
