If you haven’t seen the Croods, I’m not sure what you’re waiting on but Netflix premiered the DreamWorks Animation Television’s Dawn of the Croods worldwide on December 24.
In this original animated sitcom, Eep, Grug, Thunk, Ugga, Sandy and Gran take the Croodaceous era by storm as they deal with modern day problems for the first time in history — things like school, slumber parties, elections and more. Cast includes Laraine Newman (Gran, One-Eyed Amber), Chris Parnell (Snoot) and Ana Gasteyer (Meep).
This by far is my kids favorite show and Christmas Eve we had a chance to settled down and watch the Dawn of the Croods on Netflix. One thing I will say is when my kids love a certain show they will watch it over and over again and yes, they did that with the Dawn of the Croods…lol!
The great thing about that day was DreamWorks Animation was kind enough to send us a Dawn of the Croods Family Holiday pack to enjoy with the kids. It came at the perfect time for me and them, you see the kit included a Family Car Decal, a Cave Painting Kit, stocking and Bone Ornament. The kids couldn’t wait to place their Crood Bone Ornament on the tree. With all the different ornaments on the tree the Crood bone ornament fit right in..look below!
When we watched an episode of Dawn of the Croods with the kids all they kept saying is this movie falls within the movie they saw. It was very entertaining and the animated illustration is awesome! The kids took a moment to make their Cave Painting with their fingers and boy did I laugh. Both boys stated they were drawing a character from the movie.
