I think this would be awesome to control the heat. I always turn it way down when we leave the house so being able to turn it up an hour or so before coming home would be great. No walking into a cold home.

I’ve been wanting to set up my smartphone with a smart thermostat for a long time. It’s expensive though… I do use my phone for most everything that I can though!

Great idea but I turn my heat OFF when no one is home. Seems like such a waste to keep it heated. I guess I would set it at a certain temp and make sure the house nvr gets colder than that.

I have a Wink hub and an old Zwave thermostat. Doesnt work great, but I can at least control temperature and such remotely. It is nice.
