If your kids are anything like mine you went through a phase where the whole refrigerator was covered in artwork. I know sometimes you couldn’t even see the fridge. Some were really special and kept, some were doodles that were stored in a box somewhere in the attic. Lets face it, you can’t keep everything no matter how bad you want too.
I have a couple of pics my girls did that I love very much and keep them in an album. The only problem is the album gets stuck in drawer somewhere and the artwork isn’t enjoyed. I love Owls and my youngest drew this picture for me. It is very special to me and when I had a chance to turn it into a piece of jewelry, I jumped at it.
I love jewelry. I have several pieces that are heirlooms but honestly this little necklace means more. It is like having a piece of her with me everywhere I go. I wear it every day. The pendant is sterling silver and is made very well. I am amazed that they were able to get mostly all of the little details. I really love the black cord necklace because there is less chance for breakage and possibly losing the pendant, which would break my heart.
