Time To Pull Out My Cross Stitching Patterns!
Cross stitching is a decorative and creative way to turn any pixelated picture into a beautiful piece of art. I, for one, love to sew and create anything out of… well… everything!
After getting more into sewing, creating costumes, and clothing, I came across cross stitching. It’s a pretty neat hobby if you ask me. It didn’t take much for me to get motivated towards another project of mine.
Honestly, this form of embroidery isn’t that hard if you ask me. It only requires some patience and time; however, we can all take a bit of time out our busy schedule, and allow our imagine go wild. All you have to do is listen to your favorite playlist and create a few cross stitch patterns.
Though, an important point should be noted! You’ll have to plan your design on gridded paper, or use a computer program to transfer your desired image into a grid. For me, I plan to make a few Christmas and possibly Valentine gifts for a few beloved people in my life. I already have my threaded needle, embroidery threads and patterns stored in my room, but I might also invest in more thread and Aida cloth. It’s the best fabric to start off with.
I hope to be able to create something such as the photos that you see for my friends and family. I’ll mostly like use some of these pictures as inspiration and add my own touch. That’s one of the many things I like about cross stitching, you can add a piece of yourself to any gift and make it more unique.
