For New Years Eve this year, we were so excited to be able to try the Perfect Drink® Pro. My husband and other family members were so impressed with this product! Not everyone in my family drinks mixed drinks but for the ones that do it made it so easy. I just can’t believe there is a set-up like this now. I shouldn’t be surprised I guess because in this day and age technology has advanced so quickly.
First let me tell you a bit about this innovative product (well maybe innovative is a strong word, but for those that enjoy making the perfect drink, you will think so).

Every mixologist knows that the secret to a great cocktail is having the right amount of each ingredient. My husband was the one that was the ‘bartender’ for the party. He made a Screwdriver among a few other drinks but for this review, I am going to use that drink.
Recipe for Screwdriver (very easy)
2 ounces vodka
5 ounces orange juice
A pinch of salt
Most recipes online don’t call for the pinch of salt. But it smooths the rough edges of the orange juice’s acidity and the “burning” flavor of the vodka. Fill a glass (traditionally highball) with ice, pour in your ingredients, and stir. Garnish it with a slice of orange or a maraschino cherry, optionally. That’s it! ( I do not have the finished product because I think my niece who is 25 started to drink it before we did).
As you can see we used the Perfect Drink scale and my husband had the app on his phone which he plugged into the scale. This enabled the app to allow the scale to know how much vodka to put in the drink holder.
When you’re ready to make a cocktail, start by choosing from one of more than 400 recipes or by adding your own. 
Decide how many drinks you want to make from one or two servings, up to a party pitcher, then select Build on your device.
Watch the virtual cocktail shaker fill on your device as you pour each ingredient and don’t be surprised when friends want to give it a try. Built-in timers tell you exactly how long to shake or stir your cocktail so that it’s perfectly chilled, and not diluted.
If you’re not sure what to make, let the app provide inspiration. Just enter the ingredients you already have on hand and the app will suggest recipes that maximize your liquor cabinet. As you come across interesting cocktails, make a Favorite list and build your Shopping List to stock up.
