New Vehicle Modifications That Are Helping People and the Environment
People are constantly thinking of new, innovative ways to make cars a more worthwhile investment. Disability Access
Vehicles used to be far from disability friendly. Even the drivers on public transport would discriminate against wheelchair users, disallowing them service because of their mobility problems. Many disabled people found public transport to be the last hope, due to there being more space and help available than in their more constricting cars. No one should feel like a second-class citizen just for wanting to travel, and its long past time a change was made in this area.

It reportedly reduces their CO2 emissions by a staggering 95%, and also cools the refrigerated stock during transit too. This is made possible by first pumping the liquid nitrogen through a heat exchanger, then mixing it in the engine with water, which then powers the vehicle with electricity. Complicated, but successful!
Sensors and Cameras
Sensors and cameras are modifications that are subtler, yet extremely effective. Reversing and parallel parking used to the bane of most drivers, and blind spots would create a lot of bother too. Accidents were common in these areas, leading to anything from scrapes to fatal collisions. It’s a lethal flaw in every vehicle, but it’s one that’s now being solved.
For reversing and parallel parking, rear cameras that feed through to the dashboard are now available. Their benefit is quite self-explanatory, but still, being able to better see where you’re reversing is a huge plus. Additionally, blind spot sensors can now be fitted to the sides of lorries, alerting them if an unruly driver has entered that area alongside them. Many accidents on the motorway are attributed to this, so the fact that there’s a countermeasure in place here is greatly beneficial.
