Movie Night ….DESPICABLE ME 2 & A CHRISTMAS TREE MIRACLE!

Yay, its movie feature today! We had such a ball over the Thanksgiving holiday, we had featured movie night for a few days. OK, lets get started! Our first featured movie will be DESPICABLE ME 2 available now on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD with Ultraviolet
OMGoodness, if you have not had a chance to view this movie your missing it. It was outstanding, the laughter in the house from the kids and I was continuous. I have seen so many movies that do second sequels and many do not play out right. I am pleased that they did a Despicable Me 2 for this film and plot stands on its own from the first one. The whole plot is totally different, the approach behind this film made this movie funny, cute, and so adorable!. I love the soundtrack , it was well represented in this film.
The visual effects were so colorful and very creative. Those Minions and kids really kept us entertained and I love the ending…..I don’t want to spoil it so I won’t say anymore! Grab your DVD today!
Synopsis: Once upon a time, Gru (voice of Steve Carrell) dreamt of stealing the moon – these days he’s a single adoptive father of three precocious girls. Having given up his spectacular life of crime, Gru now aims to produce a delicious new line of jams with the help of his tiny minions and his old pal Dr. Nefario (voice of Russell Brand). Feeling unfulfilled in his newfound role as a jam-maker, Dr. Nefario announces that he will be departing for more evil pastures just as Gru is approached by the Anti-Villain League to capture the mysterious culprit who just stole a top-secret research lab filled with PX 41 — an experimental serum with the strength to transform harmless animals into ravenous monsters.

I have to say that I wasn’t sure how this movie was going to really play out. I took the time to watch it with my girls and I’m glad I did. In the beginning of the movie I must say I was so mad at how the children were acting but it was all due to the way they lived. You know kids who have to much to soon…won’t go into to deep but this movie really brought things into perspective for those who are accustomed to living that lavish life style…lets just say things can change very fast. The characters in this film did a wonderful job in playing their parts but my favorite was the youngest child and you will see why when you watch it. I’m sure she will be playing in many up coming movies!
I don’t know who cried the most me or the girls but I think we all cried and felt as though we were right in this movie with this family. This family friendly movie was released today and I assure you , you will want to see it.
Synopsis: When a dad loses his job before the holidays, the family ignores the severity of the situation and continues to live above their means. When the consequences catch up with them,they are left with nothing and nowhere to turn.
Well there you have it, two Awesome movies to share with the family this holiday.
