Mother’s Day is May 8th and Johnsonville wants to make sure mom has the best breakfast meal around. We know Mother’s Day is a day we honor our moms with love, hugs and gifts but it’s also a day where our kids share their creative cooking skills.
For many years my children have always prepared a meal for me on Mother’s Day, either it’s a dinner meal, brunch or breakfast. No matter what they’ve created they have always made me proud and happy!
Well this year my youngest daughter will be preparing breakfast once again but this time she will be creating a few meals with the Johnsonville breakfast sausages. We purchased their Fully Cooked Original Sausages & the Fully Cooked Turkey Sausages along with many other groceries to prepare this meal.
My youngest daughter Lex was excited and had already figured out what her meals would be. We purchased so many ingredients to go along with her meals. Here’s just a few:
Now she asked me to leave he kitchen so she could create her easy, quick, Mother’s Day meals. Before long she had one in the oven, one simmering on the stove and a few things in the toaster.
Her first creations she said was her quick Breakfast Lasagna made with cream cheese, regular cheese, eggs, Johnsonville sausages both regular and turkey, and hash browns. Mixed in layers and baked at 350 for 35 minutes.
Once her meal was thoroughly cooked she made the cutest plate with fresh fruit, coffee, English muffin and her delicious Johnsonville sausage lasagna.
Her next meal was simple and very easy for anyone to make for mom. She created cinnamon French toast & French toast balls along with Jonesville sausages, fresh fruit and a glass of orange juice.
Her last meal is the perfect kid’s meal that can be prepared by any child, actually all of these meals are simple, easy, and can be prepared by the kids. Mom is sure to have a big smile on her face with any of these delicious meals on Mother’s Day!
This is such a cute little meal. Created with a whole grain waffle, Johnsonville links, bananas and a raspberry, it too is another simple creation. Instead of tea or coffee she decided to add water which is always good for the body.
Well there you have it, three simple Mother’s Day meals created with Johnsonville sausages prepared by Lex my daughter. So if your kids are looking for ways to spice up their breakfast meals for mom have them check out Johnsonville sausages at your local stores.
