2016 Holiday Gift Guide Feature Lava® Lamps & String Lights

An American icon since 1965, my fascination with Lava® lamps began more than twenty years ago. The first one I owned was a beautiful dark blue color. There was something so soothing about watching it move while it was on. Fast forward to now and my obsession with them is still strong.
I recently added this gorgeous, 17-inch, hand-painted color glass, Rainbow Lava® lamp to my collection. It is very symbolic of how much I have changed since buying my first one. I can no longer pick one favorite color when asked.
My children and I absolutely love bright and colorful things. So, it is not surprising we immediately fell in love with this lamp as soon as we saw it.
There are so many new designs to choose from and you can see them all here. Needless to say, several are on our holiday wish list.

Speaking of bright colors…in addition to the lamps, these color-changing LED string lights are available. Perfect for anyone who wants to do something different with their holiday decorations. I am also planning to use these in other ways throughout the year. The hearts and stars will make it easy to do that.
The cord length is 60 inches. The Lava® string lights require 2 AA batteries which are not included and they automatically change between seven bright colors.
We have a tradition in my house to put up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. I am so looking forward to adding these string lights to it.
