I wish I had this just a little earlier. Just this past week my daughter lost her iPhone5 and this wonderful gadget would have been a life saver. I ‘m happy to report that a wonderful lady and her daughter contacted my daughter and returned the phone back to her. We all know that doesn’t happen often but so glad that person was honest.
You may be asking by now what is that gadget listed above, well the nio Tag Bluetooth is a cool innovative wireless security system for your purse, briefcase, laptop, cellphone and many other gadgets Co-developed by Bluenio and GCL Solutions Group. No more worrying where your gadgets are with this device, the nio Bluetooth will become your best friend! All your valuable possessions will now be connected to a device that will alert you when you have stepped out of range, in other words no worrying about leaving your phone, purse or laptop behind anywhere. The nio Bluetooth is here to save the day.
The nio is very lightweight and can be connected via nio free App through a Bluetooth tag that connects to your mobile phone. With the clip or lanyard which is included with this system you can attach your nio tag to your purse, keys, camera, laptop, phone and many other items.
Its very easy to install the software and it takes less than a few minutes and before you know it your up and running. The nio works with Bluetooth 4.0 and is compatible with iOS6, iOS7, iPhone 4S/5/5S/5C/iPad3, iPad, iPad mini, Android OSv4.3 and Samsung Galaxy S4. You can protect up to three devices by using the nio Premium App, all your valuables can be protected!
However I do recommend charging up the nio tag first so you can get the full benefit, it takes at least 3 hours to get a good charge. Don’t worry even though it looks small it still packs a punch of a good reliable security system!
The nio has a Mini-USB socket at the bottom and it also includes a USB cable. The instructions and menu were very clear in guiding me around the app. With the software you can add your tags and also control your connection to each of them. You may also change icons and rename them, this way you will know which tag means what when it appears! If your wondering how would you set the security zone, once your inside the control panel you will see where all of that can be done! You have security levels like low, medium and high which will change the range of how far of a distance it will allow your device to be out of range. There are many other alarm settings available also like motion senor and vibration and many others!
Let me say also that the alarm has such a high pitch piercing alarm so you may want to adjust it according to where you are. If you step away from your device and the alarm goes off you can always return back to the nio to cancel the alarm or you can manually do it through the phone application but you must leave the application running in the background in order to cancel manually.
The great thing about this system is when the alarm is triggered your mobile phone and the nio will sound off doesn’t matter which one is moving away…pretty cool ha! You may also want to keep in mind that if a person wants to smother the device in hand to silence the alarm they can. I tried that method just to see if the alarm would be heard still and my conclusion was even though it was very hard to hear alarm when I smothered the device my cellphone alarm still alerted me.
The nio also has a “locate” option available and I really like this option the most. If you have children and you are out and about this option / device will be great to have on your child. When they are at a park, playing in front of the house or shopping with you…this would be the safest way to keep up with your child. I know for me as a parent I would feel relieved knowing my child has on the nio tag while we are outdoors.
I’m impressed with the nio Tag Bluetooth, I feel it is a great investment which will provide us all a piece of mind. Knowing that statistics state that 100 smartphones are lost or stolen every 60 seconds in the U.S. this security system will be well worth the money. Retail value $69.99, now all your precious valuables can be protected with ease!
You can learn more about the nio Tag security system via website and keep up with them by Facebook & Twitter.

DEFINITELY looking into this! We have 4 iPhones in our home, 2 of which are the newest models, the 5S…so this would totally protect our investment!
I am definitely going to look into this before either of my teens gets a smart phone! Very handy gadget!
What an amazing device!! I have lost my phone a few times and it’s awful!!
Im thinking I should probably make the investment in this gadget. I would be absolutely lost without my cell phone.
My mind is blown!! What a great idea. I love the video. It definitely gave me a better understanding on the system.
