Are you always feeling tired? Do you yearn to get that daily exercise regiment in but can’t?  Do you enjoy keeping that couch company? Well, know that you’re not alone! There are millions of Americans that feel just like you, heck I’m one of them at times myself!

Sometimes we say who has time, don’t feel like it today, maybe tomorrow or I’ll get  moving as soon as I watch this or that! Now there’s nothing wrong with sitting on the couch watching a good movie or TV show , what’s wrong is if you do not keep it moving your body muscle strength can deteriorate, your body will become weak, blood pressure can rise due to weight gain and of course your mental health will be affected just as much as your physical health!

Many people think you have to make a schedule that is intense to keep moving but you don’t need to. There are so many simple solutions that can keep you moving and your entire family!

Here are a few tips that will help keep you moving:

Tip one: Be creative when preparing meals. Consider using these ingredients listed below. These types of ingredients are good for the body and will boost your energy levels.

Whole grains

  • Vegetables

  • Fruits

  • Dairy (milk or milk products)

  • Protein foods

Make a 15-Minute Pasta Salad, this looks so good and its very nutritious!.

Tip two: Gather everyone together for a nice bike ride, this will definitely keep you moving! My family and I try to enjoy a bike ride at least every two weeks. This is a great activity for your muscles and heart!

Tip three: Take some time out of your day to walk. Walking can improve muscle endurance, muscle strength, bones and helps to improve the body’s cardiovascular system.

Tip four: Step out of your comfort zone, take a Martial Art Class for you and the kids. This is another activity that will keep you moving, all that kicking and punching will not only teach you to defend yourself, this type of activity will also strengthen your upper and lower extremities!

Tip five: Exercise, exercise, exercise, no matter how you do it, just do it, walk, ride, do yoga, jog, even take a few minutes out of your day to visit a gym. There’s nothing to it but to DO IT!! Keep It Moving Daily!!
