Babies are so cute and simply adorable but they can also be very messy at times! Well thanks to Dreft Laundry Detergent they know exactly how to clean up those nasty little food stains.

dreft-on-white-hires

I don’t know about your baby but it’s like the moment Jada starts to eat her food it ends up everywhere even in her hair…really Jada! Do you know that studies show that smashing, throwing and playing with food actually helps babies learn? And it is noted that science has confirmed that kids enjoy playing in their food, dirt and mud because it actually helps our children relax and stay calm, it even makes them very happy. I agree with that statement because look at Jada making a mess, she’s as happy as can be below.

jadamessyfood

Actually, I enjoy seeing Jada make a mess and I never worry about the cleanup of her clothing because each time Dreft gets those nasty stains out and keeps her clothes smelling fresh and clean. Dreft also knows that there is no two messy babies alike out there, that’s why they have put together the #MessiestBabyContest hosted by Dreft and Parent’s Magazine.

Now moms Dreft has also partnered with actress and model, Molly Sims, to host the #messiestbabycontest competition.

Model and actress Molly Sims hosts Dreft’s America’s Messiest Baby Play Date to help Dreft launch its nationwide search for America’s Messiest Baby, Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, in New York. For more information, visit www.dreft.com or the brand's social media channels on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Dreft), Twitter (https://twitter.com/Dreft) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/dreft/). Parents can enter to win Dreft’sAmerica’s Messiest Baby Contest for a chance to have their little one featured on the cover of Parent’s Magazine by submitting a photo of their favorite messy baby moment at www.parents.com/dreftmessiestbabycontest or posting their photo on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #messiestbabycontest. On Oct 25th in New York City Molly Sim’s attended the Dreft event to kick off the Messiest Baby Contest. Plus Dreft also partnered with Dr. Hes, Dr Hes is a  Medical Director of Gramercy Pediatrics and was recently named a 2013 top doctor by NEW YORK magazine.

She also shares with us mom’s a few “messy baby” tips like: Count the fun and use your fingers: Use your little one’s food as a fantastic way to learn how to begin counting &  Throwing practice: Throwing food can definitely be messy, but did you know it helps with their development?

Listen parents, if you too have a messy baby then this will be the best contest you’ve ever entered your baby in. Don’t wait visit this link parents.com/dreftmessiestbabycontest so you can enter your little one in the #Messiest Baby Contest.

That looks like such a cute contest. I like Dreft because it’s gentle for sensitive skin. The harsh chemicals and dyes in many others give us rashes.

Although, I don’t have children, my mother does frequently use Dreft (when we have it in the house) on her work clothes, as it’s gentle, not a major scent and really works to keep her clothes looking like new. Dreft definitely helps with those messy baby moments!

I wish I had a camera handy to catch some of the worst messes. I usually went into cleanup mode before I grabbed my camera.

I remember using Dreft for my babies, when my granddaughter was born the first detergent I told my daughter in law about was Dreft. I bought my granddaughter her first bottle of Dreft. She only 4 months old so we haven’t tackled the messy eating yet, but I really can’t wait. I love seeing a baby eating and putting their first bowl of food on the head. Thank goodness for Dreft.
