My ClearCorrect Journey Number #3, I’m almost most done….not!!! #Ad

Over the last few months, I have been getting adjusted to wearing my ClearCorrect aligners every day. There hasn’t been any significant changes from my last post in regards to how it feels when I wear a new set of aligners. The process has been the same and I am getting closer and closer to achieving my goals of a perfect smile.

Aligner 8
I started my 8th aligner in March and just as the others, the aligner I got were snug fitting. The pain is the same, so I’m completely use to the feeling now. The aligners felt no different than before. The first few days with them in continued to be a little tough on my gums and tough on my fingers but it wasn’t a new feeling I hadn’t experience before!
Almost done…or am I?
I would swap out my aligners for new ones every 2 weeks. I’d also sit with my dentist to be sure I’m on track as she would check out my teeth. I started my 9th set towards the middle of March and just as the others, they got tighter. The pain was still the same.
Another 2 weeks I started on my 10th set and 11th set two more weeks later. I was almost there! I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. Once I hit my 11th set, though, I honestly started to get tired of changing the aligners, cleaning them, going to the dentist and dealing with the pain the first few days. I think it was because I was so close to completing my treatment plan of 12 total aligners.
I scheduled my appointment with my dentist to get my last set and I was extremely excited!  At this point, I thought I would wear these aligners for 2 more weeks and would come back and get the attachments/ buttons removed and I’d be on my merry way. When I got to the dentist, I was extremely surprised when she told me that I wasn’t actually done.
I forgot  I had to have 14 aligners, it just seemed as though I was much closer than I expected!

Now I’m currently on my 1st week of my 14th set. This is by far the oddest set of aligners I’ve had. The plastic is very thick and it is very hard to speak sometimes. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be this way or not but this final set has been difficult to work with but, funny too by the way I am speaking. I’ll see my dentist in 2 weeks to see what’s next for me. Hopefully I’ll be fully completed by then.
To be continued…

  • I definitely see a noticeable difference in your smile and it looks fantastic! I wore braces as a teen, but my teeth have shifted quite a bit since those days, and I love the thought of using clear aligners to tighten the gaps and straighten things out.

  • Wow, you can certainly see a difference! I never had braces as my parents couldn’t afford it. May have to consider this!

  • Wow, your smile looks amazing! I had braces when I was younger but sadly my teeth have moved back somewhat since I stopped wearing my retainer. I would love to get clear correct to move my teeth back! Your results are amazing!
