Now if you are one of my readers, I am sure you have heard me speak about my back injury over and over again. Actually it is a chronic back injury that sometimes takes a hold of my life and yes I have medicine that I take constantly, but some days I just don’t like that groggy feeling.

Some days I just find myself being sore from either moving around a lot or just playing with my grand kids. So when Salonpas  sent me a few samples of their pain relief products I was all for giving them a try, hey why not.

(Products sent)

Salonpas Pain Relief Patch – Contains 3% menthol and 10% methyl salicylate.   This patch is effective for up to 12 hours!  With an over-the-counter pill, you’d be dosing yourself at least 2 times for the same amount of pain relief.

  • Salonpas Pain Relieving Gel-Patch, Hot – Contains 1.25% menthol and .025% capsaicin (found in hot peppers).  This gel cloth feels cool at first, then quickly heats up providing up to 8 hours of pain relief.  It’s like a cordless heating pad!
  • Salonpas Arthritis Pain Patch -Contains 3% menthol and 10% methyl salicylate. This patch is effective for up to 12 hours!
  • Salonpas Pain Relieving Jet Spray – Contains 3% menthol and 10% methyl salicylate (the active ingredient in aspirin).  Offers a strong cooling effect on the skin as soon as you apply it.  No greasy feeling is left on the skin.  Great to slip into your sports bag!

If I can find a solution to help manage my sore aches from my back, knees or arms besides taking prescribed medication, I’ll try it. I will say I am a skeptic, sometimes when it comes to trying out new things, but Salonpas has put that to rest when I tried one of their Pain Relief Patches.

salonpassssssss44

OK, let’s not waste anymore time. I tried my first patch just this week after a long day of having an aching back and boy did my skepticism go away fast plus they are very thin and easy to apply. However, I noticed once applied to my lower back where I had some muscle discomfort the patch stayed in place and move effortlessly with my body movement. That’s important to me and here’s why, I have applied many pain patches to my lower back and a little after applying them they would release off my skin fast.

I could smell the odor of menthol within minutes, so I knew it would be just a matter of time that the Salonpas patch would start penetrating. Before long I could feel my muscles loosening up and the lower pain was subsiding from a level that brought on discomfort, the patch was now targeting that pain area. I can say I like the Salonpas pain relief patches since they appear to work great on targeting my pain; my back really felt more relaxed.

Will I recommend these patches? Yes, I would! I think they are great for sore knees, aching backs, arthritis, sprains, sore shoulders and much more.

I intend to share these products with my husband, he sometimes complains about his shoulder aching when he gets off work. I’m sure Salonpas product line will ease his discomfort too. Just think , you can now manage your pain without taking all those MEDS or over the counter pills .

Just grab your Salonpas patch or spray, apply it and sit back and let it work on targeting your pain!

Now its your turn, Salonpas has been kind enough to offer one of the Night Helper readers a $100 worth of Salonpas products.

I’ve had recurring neck pain since 2008, when I was in a car accident. Then last year, I tore my rotator cuff on the same side my neck tends to ache.
This past weekend, I took my kids to an outdoor concert, and managed to badly injure my neck chasing them around. After dealing with it for several days, I went to the store with the intention of getting some Icy Hot or the likes. I saw SalonPas patches, and decided I would try those- I figured they’d be good for work (I’m a cleaning lady.)
I am so glad I decided to try them! They are awesome! I have even been handing them out to people who complain of pain. I’m like, “you HAVE to try these!” I will forever have some of these on hand.

Yes, I have severe back pain. I’ve had surgery but it’s degenerative due to osteoporosis that they can’t get under control. Yes. I’ve seen your Kia review . It brings tears to my eyes, since mine was killed by a texter. I wish Twitter likes weren’t in the first entries. I’m out of follows.
