5 ideas for Homemade Gift Baskets.

Are you struggling to find the perfect present for that certain someone? Or perhaps you just want to add a more personal touch to your gifts. Whatever the reason gift baskets make great gifts for those people who are difficult to buy for.

Before choosing what items to fill your baskets with you’re going to want to choose the type of basket you might like. Wicker baskets are a great choice for gift baskets as they come in various sizes, which make them a great choice for almost any budget. In most cases you can also purchase them with decorated textile linings which allow you to personalize them that little bit further.

Once you’ve made your choice on the type and size basket you want to give, you can then more importantly decide what to fill it with. Keep reading on for a few ideas on what you might be able to include in yours.

1.Housewarming

Do you have a friend or relative that’s just moved into a new home? If so then a housewarming basket could be the ideal gift. There are a whole host of items you could fill the basket with.  To name a few examples you could include the household essentials, which could include a Hammer, Torch, Candles, batteries, Kitchen Utensils, Extension Cable. Really anything you think might help your friend or relative settle into their new home.

2.Exam survival pack

Alternatively you might know somebody who’s taking or soon to be taking their exams?  Why not send them an Exam Survival Basket. Again there are plenty of things you could include, stationary equipment such as a pack of pens and a notepad. Perhaps add in some of their favorite food to keep them going.  No exam or revision session would be complete without adding in some tea or coffee, or perhaps an energy drink to help them stay awake into the night.

3.Get Well soon

At some point in time someone you know might unfortunately become unwell. When you go over to visit, why not surprise them with a Get Well Soon Basket. You can fill it full of any vitamins and remedies they might need or perhaps some chicken soup. Add in a box of tissues and the obligatory bunch of grapes and they should be on the way to recovery in no time.

4.BBQ basket

Summertime is almost here and you might be heading into the garden and firing up the Barbeque.  Why not give a friend or relative the perfect excuse by giving them a BBQ Basket. It’s a great opportunity to throw in a new barbeque recipe and provide them with all the Meat and Sauces they might need. You could also throw in some shiny new barbeque utensils and why not add a few beverages to drink along with it.

5.Pet Treat basket

Gift baskets aren’t reserved for just friends and family. Let’s not forget the pets. If you want to treat your Cat or Dog there are many possibilities for pet treat baskets. Things you could include in the basket are items such as a brand new ball or squeaky toy for your dog. You perhaps could include a new collar or lead for your pet to round of the basket and make sure not to forget to add in your pet’s favorite treat.

That is just a small selection of ideas, but the possibilities really are endless with Wicker Baskets for unique gift ideas. You could continue experimenting with different themes and unique basket decorations to make the perfect gifts for almost any occasion.
